Children’s Health Month – October 2017

November 6, 2017

If you aren’t a part of our facebook page, then you probably might have missed out on a lot, the previous month.
The previous month, October, was Children’s Health Month and every Friday we had a special Health Tip for our followers that would keep their child in growing stronger and faster.

But, not to worry. We know you’d be interested in it too. So here are all Children’s Health Tips combined in one post.

Children’s Health Tip – #1

Toss Some Salt In The Tub

If your kids are eating a healthy diet, you probably don’t need to supplement MAGNESIUM.

However, if they are Magnesium Deficit, adding a handful of Epsom Salts and a tablespoon or two of Sea Salt to their bath is a great way to gently boost their magnesium levels.

Even for kids with allergies, eczema or asthma, this small step can make a Massive difference.

The salts you add contain a lot of trace minerals is soothing and naturally cleansing to the skin. it will also help them relax and wind down before bedtime, so they sleep better!

Children’s Health Tip – #2

Let Them Loose, In The Dirt

Wondering if this Health Tip is in the best interests of your kids? Trust us, we have your kid’s best interest at heart.

As counter-intuitive as it might sound, by interacting with dirt, kids are naturally exposed to a host of natural bacteria and pathogens that actually help strengthen the immune system.

There is even some evidence that regular play time in the dirt helps keep kids from developing allergies and asthma.

On top of that, some naturally occurring compounds in dirt have proven to boost Serotonin levels which contributes to a healthy sleep.

Children’s Health Tip – #3

Control Their Eating Habits

Is it YOUR child, guess what? You Control the Supply lines.

Though it’s the duty of all kids to pester their parents for less nutritious foods, adults should be in charge when deciding which foods are regularly stocked in the house.

You decide which foods to buy and when to serve them. Kids won’t go hungry. They’ll eat what’s available. If their favorite snack isn’t all that nutritious, you can still buy it once in a while so they don’t feel deprived.

Also, remember not to come out as too restrictive. Kids need to have some say in the matter.

From the selections you offer, let them choose what to eat and how much of it they want. If you follow the above steps, your kids will be choosing only from the foods you buy and serve.

Children’s Health Tip – #4

Promote Health Consciousness

After all is said and done, instead of forcing health techniques on your child, teach them the importance of it.

By promoting health consciousness in children, you give them the best start to life.

Teach them to incorporate little things such as – taking medicines with lukewarm water/ water at room temperature, no hot or no cold water, not to eat food after 6 pm, not to sleep immediately after food or after taking any medicine, to drink more water in the morning and noon, less at night, for a simple reason as it may lead to frequent urination, and disturb sleep.
